Swash script typeset on an angle gives this classic invitation a modern slant. The contrast of rich, royal blue stock and reflective gold foil heightens the drama of this wedding trousseau. For a more romantic approach this design is equally stunning on white letterpress paper with rounded corners.
Like letterpress, foil is pressed into the paper. But rather than ink, foil stamping uses a metallic foil to create images that look like metal. It’s beautiful as an accent to letterpress or flat printing, and really shines over a photograph.
Engraving, Thermography, Letterpress, Digital (note that only foil and engraving show up on dark papers)
