To capture the spirit of Italian art throughout the ages, Scriptura created original renderings of both the Florentine fleur de lis and architectural elements from the Uffizi museum. The design was further enhanced with calligraphed text, letterpressed in sepia ink on artisanal handmade paper. To complete the viewers immersion in the Italian theme, Scriptura lined the envelopes with a map of Florence and sealed them with a wax seal featuring Avery's initials.
