Lizzy and Chandler’s invitation suite exudes warmth and romance. Scriptura hand illustrated their custom monogram to strike a balance between masculine and feminine: A tailored, clean “B” for Chandler Brown, set within the curling florals of an “S” for Lizzy Stone. A band of blush velvet ribbon affixed with the couple’s cipher monogram wraps around the invitation. Engraved in gold, the text is calligraphed by Sara Regan. The couple’s blush, gold, and ecru color palette reflected the softness and elegance of their ceremony and reception.
PRETTY IN PEONY
Lizzy and Chandler’s custom cipher monogram incorporated peonies, gardenias, ranunculus, and patience garden roses, all of which were part of the floral arrangements for their wedding. The color palette of the invitation reappeared in the bridesmaid’s blush gowns and the gold place settings at the reception.
The couple included an information insert with their wedding invitation suite. The wedding details gave guests transportation information, accomodations, and an address for the couple’s wedding website. An insert is useful to highlight the most important information and directs guests to the wedding website for further details, such as registry, places to eat, or activities.
A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE
A Christmas streetcar scene called upon guests to save the date for Lizzy and Chandler’s December wedding. Fast forward to the end of their reception: “All I want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey played over the speakers as the couple celebrated with family and friends.
TYING THE KNOT
Vertical wedding programs with blush ribbon at the top matched the wedding invitations to create a polished wedding paper trousseau.
LEAVING THEIR MARK
Lizzy and Chandler’s cipher monogram was used throughout their wedding celebration. Each little detail – dinner napkins, cocktail napkins, cups, and koozies – had a custom touch. Their cipher made an appearance on the chalkboard behind the bar and even the craft cocktails served at the reception.
Lizzy and Chandler led a joyful second line procession through the streets of New Orleans to their reception. The couple recently celebrated their first anniversary this December. We wish them a lifetime of happy anniversaries to come!
